Re: [ TUTO ] Menu caché uconnect 7 et 5 (engineering mode)
Hi, sorry for replying in english. (I'm brazilian, and I really didn't want to use google translator)
Here in Brazil, Fiat just released a new car, named Argo, that is based on the European Tipo. (And even has the same Uconnect 7)
I tried your tutorial and it worked fine! My version is 22.00.56.02
The problem with our Uconnect is that it doesn't have any navigation software, not even as an additional. But going through the Engineering menus, I found that it does have GPS built-in (I checked the values at "Pos Eng Menu"), and when doing a dump of the Radio Proxy and DEVLog, I found that it has the NAV disabled only by software.
So, if someone with a GPS enabled Uconnect 7" make a dump of the Radio Proxy and DEVLog and post here, I'd be very glad, then I can check the differences between NAV-enabled and NAV-disabled Uconnects. I think we can change the variables through OBD2 with the right software, and then, unlock not only NAV but many more features.
I'm going to attach my dump (I got it doing: Saving Of -> Radio Proxy & DEVLog. Keep in mind that when you are inside "Saving Of" menu, you have to scroll the "Browse / Enter" button to navigate and click on the same button to select. Also, you need a pendrive attached)
